The Dryboxx retrofit was developed for the professional installation of high-quality built-in loudspeakers in existing suspended ceilings and drywalls. This back box easily fits into any standard drywall installation flow.
The material of the Dryboxx retrofit consists of robust MDF boards and, thanks to the decoupling mat, offers additional protection against vibration and structure-borne noise. In addition, the Dryboxx retrofit is delivered with a plasterboard panel mounted on the front to enable subsequent installation (retrofit) in existing drywall ceilings and walls easily and safely.
The interior insulation has it all: The high-quality acoustic nub foam supports and insulates the sound of the speaker in equal measure.
The design of the Dryboxx retrofit has been optimized for the most important loudspeaker volumes. It is available in different sizes - and thus the ideal housing for every ambitious built-in speaker.
The Dryboxx retrofit is suitable for suspended ceilings and drywall - and due to its closed design also for ceilings with vapor barriers. An imprint shows the installer the maximum possible cutout for retrofitting the speaker.
